Best before parties
Many FMCG companies have to deal with products that are approaching the best before date. This can be caused by minimal production batches, ‘errors’ during the planning or products that run less in a certain period.
But what do you do with your THT product?
- You can have it destroyed;
- You can offer it to the food bank;
- You can set up an action to boost sales;
- You use these products for a sampling campaign.
Best before Sampling
Best before sampling can often be just as expensive as processing. However, when you sample your product, you can reach the consumer. We regularly receive requests for these types of best before parties and try to find adequate solutions for this. Over time, we therefore have more and more channels where we can set up a sampling campaign in the short term, at low costs and within a short period of time.
We also look for the right channel for these campaigns, whereby the consumer has the time and need and the positioning of product is appropriate. If possible we also provide communication around the campaign, depending on the channel this can be done via a flyer, a counter display or online via the newsletter. We provide brand activation with a measurable effect. We can give you insights into how the consumer has experienced the product! We do this through our Consumer Insights Application. This is our own platform, where the consumer can share his / her experience with your product.
Of course it is important to pay close attention to when the products can also be offered, this is done through consultation between the producer and the channel. Which channels can we offer?
Best before channels
In our channel database we have defined channels as best before channels if they can offer the products to the consumer within 2 weeks after approval. This way we can sample at various bakers, sports clubs, holiday parks, fashion retailers and many more!
And if we do not yet have a suitable channel in our database, we will make sure we find the right channel for your product.
To conclude, if you are dealing with a best before party and you do not yet have a solution, please contact us. Even if you are not currently dealing with a best before party, but you do expect to get involved with it, it may be useful to contact us so that we can anticipate.
